The value for our money at Palota was excellent. The room was well-equipped and cozy, providing a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, with easy access to transportation options. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, providing a good example of quality service.
The breakfast offerings could be improved by adding more vegetarian options.

It had a beautiful view
1. No Air Conditioning, rooms were small and too hot!! 2. Buffet food would finish early and sometimes did not refill 3.Closing of Pool area to early ( 9pm) make it 11pm 4. Gym was not open and had to request it to be opened ( leave open) 5.Room was not totally cleaned (washroom utensils were not refilled) 6. Bathroom should have a shower/bath together with divider 7.Drinks were too expensive I paid too much, others paid less than i did for their daily stay, i stayed an extra day and it cost me $ 110.00, not $ 160 as i was charged by Booked.net

During my recent business trip to Lillafured, I had the opportunity to stay at Hotel Palota Lillafured, which was chosen by my director. This smoke-free hotel truly exceeded my expectations. The first thing that impressed me was the wide range of amenities it offered. With 2 indoor pools and a fitness center, I had plenty of opportunities to stay active and unwind after a long day of meetings. , the bar/lounge provided a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy a drink, and the sauna and spa services were perfect for some much-needed rest and relaxation. I particularly enjoyed the free fitness center, where I could exercise at my own pace.
One minor negative aspect of my experience at Hotel Palota Lillafured was the service.

I recently stayed at Hotel Palota in Lillafured for a couple's getaway. The staff was exceptional, always friendly and helpful, even when we had a small issue with our bathrobe being taken. One of the cleaning ladies went above and beyond to sort it all out, refusing any tip and insisting it was part of her job. The hotel itself is stunning, with a touch of aristocratic charm. The entire place is impeccably clean, and the pools are lovely. The surrounding nature is a beautiful bonus.
I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The room at Hotel Palota was amazing! It had a flat-screen TV with cable channels, which was perfect for relaxing after a long day. The free WiFi was a great bonus, allowing me to easily stay connected. The bathroom was also fantastic, with a choice of a shower or a tub. And let's not forget the view from the twin room, it was absolutely breathtaking! Plus, with the air conditioning and soundproofing, I had a comfortable and peaceful stay.
Personally, I would have preferred a shower with more water pressure.

An Exceptional Getaway in the Heart of Hills
One of the highlights of our stay at Hotel Palota was the exceptional location in the heart of the hills. We were surrounded by breathtaking waterfalls, a serene lake, and picturesque hiking trails. It truly felt like a hidden paradise tucked away in nature.
Although there were some minor drawbacks, such as the slightly overpriced nature of the hotel and the food not being as delicious as we had hoped, these did not overshadow the overall positive experience. The pleasant and helpful staff compensated for any shortcomings and made our stay enjoyable.

We loved living in this palace-like hotel on a beautiful lake nestled amongst wooded hills in Hungary. The cleanliness, hotel facilities, parking, and location were top-notch. Adding to our enjoyment was a scrumptious breakfast and friendly staff.
Nothing, all great!

We absolutely loved this place! The location is absolutely stunning, surrounded by lush gardens and nestled in a beautiful valley. We enjoyed being near several attractions and the tranquil ambiance of being on a lake amongst wooded hills. The staff here were fantastic, with the receptionist being friendly and the wait staff maintaining a bit of that Eastern Bloc edge. The room amenities were top-notch, with heating, tea and coffee facilities, a mini-bar, and a terrace with comfortable garden furniture. The flat-screen TV was a nice touch, and we even had free toiletries provided. this hotel provided enhanced comfort and quality services.
We highly recommend this hotel to others.

Spent Xmas in a unique hotel nestled in the middle of a charming forest. Delicious meals guaranteed and special spa treatments. The hotel provides a shuttle service to nearby attractions, which makes exploring this beautiful and undiscovered area much easier.
Rooms reminded us of Wes Anderson's famous movies but the heating system was faulty, which made our nights uncomfortable and cold. Some of the staff needs to work on customer service skills and be a bit more welcoming.

Nestled in the midst of a tranquil forest, this elegant hotel offers the opportunity to experience royal-like lodging. It is close to several alluring spots like a breathtaking lake and other soul-stirring attractions of the region. Guests can enjoy the opulence of spacious and comfortable rooms equipped with a well-maintained private bathroom. The service of the staff is admirable, and the breakfast buffet has numerous food choices to offer. The tranquility of the place and the stunning forest view from the balcony is worth every penny.
Some aspects of the hotel are not up to par with the high-end service.

Lovely surroundings, with mountains and forests nearby, making for a tranquil atmosphere. Rooms were small but comfortable, and the facilities in the building were good. Breakfast offered a great variety, with many local specialties available.
Food could be improved upon, as it seemed to cater mostly to Hungarian tastes. the customer service could have been better, with some staff members struggling to communicate in English.
